AGH these in-home South Carolina maternity photos were amazing to photograph! I love any indoor session across either of the Carolinas. There is something so special about getting photographs in your home. These sessions make something so special for you to look back at to remember the memories you made in a home.

tips from a photographer for the best in-home maternity photos:

• Keep it real. There’s no better way to showcase your home than the way things are. For example, if your kids have an energetic personality, let them be that way! This will shine through in the images and for years to come you’ll be able to remember that.
• Be comfortable. My favorite thing about an in-home session is you can take your shoes off and literally relax. We focus on the parts of life where you’re getting comfy in your home and makes the session so enjoyable. Don’t stress about everything being perfect, your photographer will guide you the whole way through.
• What time is the best to get in-home maternity photos done? I think either the late morning or early afternoon gives great light indoors. This is when the sun is at its peak outside, so it’ll be the brightest inside. Because your inside, the bright sun will help illuminate the spaces in your home.

The Whites were an amazing family to work with. They welcomed me into their home with so much joy. We hung out capturing moments in a few different rooms in their home. Including the nursery for their coming baby for some undergarment shots at the end, which quickly became some of my favorite shots. Their little man was so energetic and kept us entertained throughout the entire session!

I loved this session so much.
