Doing maternity photography in Fayetteville, NC was a dream. These are some of my favorite photos, ever. I say this all the time, haha! BUT the colors, the location, the cutest couple ?! I love this session so much.

When getting announcement photos done, it’s fun to have props to show what you’re sharing with the rest of the world. Some of my favorite props for maternity photography are …
- An ultrasound: I feel like this is the most obvious but it’s so so sweet. To show a photo of your little one is adorable and special.
- A sign with a quote sharing the news.
- A positive pregnancy test.
- T-shirts for you and your significant other that are announcing your baby.
- A onesie, baby shoes, etc. I absolutely love baby clothes (so little and cute) and this is an adorable way to show your news.
Most of all, just make the announcement to you! Don’t do anything extravagant if you’re not like that or if you don’t like cheesy announcements, don’t do it that way.

Madison and I met through a group for military spouses. Jacob is in the Army (and so is my husband). When she messaged me telling me she was pregnant and asking for announcement photos I was so excited. I got to meet both her and Jacob and take photos for such a special time in their life.
They’ve got the biggest smiles and hearts! They joked around with each other the entire session, we all got to know one another, and took some amazing photos.
Congratulations, Jacob and Madison !! and thank you for trusting me with these special photographs. It was so fun to meet you.
Also, a little fun fact! For all of you that are reading this and aren’t from Fayetteville, this is the most classic photo location here. All the photographers love it and use it, it’s quite notorious.
