First, Ghoreshie reached out to me for NC family photography with the sweetest story and asked for photographs with her two children. Then, we arrived at the location and hit it off right away! It was so fun to hear about their life and how they made it to where they are today.

We met in Charlotte, NC for these adorable family portraits. It was halfway point for us to meet and it worked out perfectly.

I love the Charlotte skyline for photos and Marshall Park has the perfect one. It’s a nice sized park, downtown, with a beautiful fountain, and close to a small lake. As well, there are a couple of monuments in the park as well. Certainly, these all give for amazing photo opportunities within the park.

It’s a go-to location for my sessions and weddings in Charlotte, NC. Lately, I’ve come to this park a few times for different photos and it’s always a good spot.

Fun fact: my husband Derek & I also got our engagement photos taken in this same location!

Anyway, how cute are Ghoreshie’s children?! Ethan and Amelia were excited about these photos and wanted to take the session in their own direction! However, we got some very fun photos for the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. By the end the kiddos were asking me to come to get dinner with them, it was the sweetest thing!! I love photographing little families.
