My list of some fun North Carolina wedding venues that I’ve photographed at! All of these wedding venues are unique for their own reasons. Different styles are included in this post, from simple and modern to rustic.
Planning a wedding and making a budget for everything you need can be hard. These are venues that you can get married at while sticking to your budget. Or maybe you’d like to spend less on your venue and more on another priority. Either way, these wedding venues in North Carolina are affordable and beautiful locations!
It’s in a remote area not far from Raleigh. This is the perfect venue for a couple with a simple style and looking for lots of clean photographs. Overall, this NC wedding venue has many great parts about it.
There is a bridal suite that has lots of natural light as well as simple furniture and white walls. Those few things are something I always suggest looking for in a wedding venue! On the other side of the venue, they have a suite for the groom to get ready in as well. These getting-ready spots are great for weddings because both the bride and groom can get ready in the same location without seeing each other.
Lastly, outside of the venue, there are many locations for photographs and lots of spaces to choose from for your reception spot.
The best time of year to get married at Ardenwood Farm is during the summer or early fall. The venue focuses on outdoor weddings, which is amazing, but make sure your guests aren’t going to be cold during your reception. Something Matt & Kayae used on their wedding day were space heaters. They had them placed throughout a tent and it kept us warm for a November wedding!

The venue has a rustic vibe to it and the area where events can be held is separated from all of their other happenings. It’s a great brewery with lots of fun activities held throughout the year. A favorite part of this venue for me was the lights they had hanging outside of the venue. I was able to sneak the couple away for a few photographs in them and love how they turned out!

The Stony Mountain Vineyards is a beautiful location with lots going on! Some of their amenities include a tasting room and a couple of hiking trails. They host great events throughout the year. And they’re a wedding venue, my specialty!
Their wedding rental includes most of everything you need! When renting the space you get access to their catering room, bridal room to get ready in, an area for your reception, and a ceremony location. To read more about their offerings visit their website.
You also get an amazing view of the North Carolina mountains for sessions and weddings, a view of their beautiful vineyards, and a lake for your day.
The Stony Mountain Vineyard would be a great location for a micro wedding. It’s a smaller venue but truly a stunning place. It’d also be a great location for a destination wedding! There are some incredible Airbnbs within twenty minutes of the venue for your guests or yourself!
I photographed a couple of my friends here for fun, see more of this amazing location here!
